Lake People introduces a dedicated 19-inch rackmount for the MC100 monitor controller. The new rackmount is compatible with all existing devices and thus provides an alternative to rack trays whilst retaining complete functionality of the MC100. In addition, the new mount is also compatible with Violectric models V550, V5902 und V790.
Top-notch monitoring: MC100
The Lake People MC100 delivers monitoring on the highest level. Uncompromisingly clean signal paths and premium electronic parts ensure that every detail of incoming signals is being faithfully passed on to up to three pairs of speakers plus a separate subwoofer. Following Lake People tradition, the integrated headphone amplifier is as brilliant as you would expect and can simulate loudspeaker playback for extended listening sessions with its integrated XFEED circuit. Lake People also offers the MC100 as a PRO version with a relay-switched volume control for maximum sonic precision.
Available for desktop or rack
The availability of the rackmount offers a new option for the Lake People MC100. Of course, the monitor controller can still be used as a desktop device. By placing it in the rackmount though, the MC100 now fits perfectly into any standard 19-inch rack, only requiring 2U. With this addition, the device now offers maximum flexibility for any application.
Freely configurable inputs and outputs
Regardless of the choice of the installation, the functionality of the Lake People MC100 remains entirely intact, of course. This includes five different input options, from XLR to RCA to the USB-C input with high-quality conversion. As for outgoing signals, three individual volume controllable and symmetrical outputs offer connectivity for three pairs of monitors as well as a separately controllable subwoofer. The buttons on the front can trigger each other or allow for simultaneous use of multiple inputs and outputs, depending on the user’s preferences. Two symmetrical slave-outs allow connecting additional adjustable amplifiers or measuring devices when their input signal needs to be independent of the monitoring level.
Upgradability, pricing, and availability
The Lake People MC100 can immediately be used with the new rackmount. The rackmount is compatible with all existing devices, including the MC100, and the MC100 PRO, as well as the Violectric V550, V5902, and V790, and can easily be fitted. The suggested retail price is 59.90 EUR (including 19% VAT).
