Velodyne Acoustics at High End 2024: Bass Storm over Munich

At this year’s High End, Velodyne Acoustics presents not only the absolute highlight of compact subwoofers – the new MiniVee X – but also exclusively the new mono power amplifier models including room correction function. With 750 and impressive 1500 watts, the optimal power is always available for every setup. All new Velodyne Acoustics products can be conveniently controlled via the new, specially developed AutoEQ SUB app. Bass enthusiasts should not miss this and should note down rooms C112 and D111 in Atrium 3.1.

DSP Power with App Integration: Velodyne Acoustics SC750 and SC1500

The new DSP-controlled Velodyne Acoustics SC750/1500 subwoofer amplifiers offer ultimate bass solutions for home theater, multi-zone or stereo music systems. Stable down to 2 ohms and with automatic room correction, they are perfect for passive subwoofers.
Operation is via large rotary controls and a blue LED display or the AutoEQ SUB app. The app allows precise tuning for Velodyne Acoustics subwoofers and adjustment to room conditions for optimal performance and clarity.
With 750W amplification for the SC750 and up to 1500W for the SC1500, which is suitable for larger setups, every subwoofer is driven to its maximum. The amplifiers feature high-level, RCA, and XLR inputs and outputs for flexible integration into any audio system. Additionally, they offer anti-clipping and overheating protection to prevent distortion from amplifier clipping.

Compact Multi-talent: MiniVee X

The new MiniVee X subwoofer impresses with a sealed MDF cabinet and additional bracing for a torsionally rigid construction – a special feature in this price range. The two newly designed 8-inch drivers in force-cancelling design ensure exceptionally low-resonance reproduction. With 350 watts RMS and a double rear-vented drive unit, it offers optimal performance with ideal heat dissipation. Thanks to RCA and LFE inputs as well as speaker terminals, the MiniVee X is versatile for use in HiFi and home theater systems. The Velodyne Acoustics AutoEQ app allows convenient adjustment to the room and individual listening preferences. Simple control, optimal adjustment – with the MiniVee X you achieve perfect sound.
