IFA 2025: Great picture quality and user experience affordable for everyone – The new Sharp televisions

Berlin 4th September 2025 – This year, Sharp is focusing on a selection of good-looking televisions that meet all quality and price requirements. Highlights include innovative yet affordable Mini LED, QLED and DLED models in various sizes, which promise state-of-the-art TV entertainment with contemporary operating systems from our partners Google, TiVo and Roku. This year’s eye-catcher: with a spectacular 136-inch Micro LED TV, Sharp demonstrates that the display technology used also delivers impressive results in these sizes. 

Sharp makes MiniLED a treat for everyone – at a smart price

With its new MiniLED generation, Sharp is bringing perfect picture to areas that were previously reserved for exclusive premium TVs. Instead of expensive top-of-the-range models costing over 1.000 Euro, you can now experience brilliant images for under 500 Euro – in comparison to regular QLED TVs, that is only additionally between 50 Euro more for 50-inch to 55-inch TVs and up to 100 Euro for bigger screen sizes. 

Conventional LED and QLED devices usually work with dozens, coarsely controlled backlight segments. Sharp MiniLED, on the other hand, relies on hundreds of precisely controllable light points that render dark areas of the picture rich black and bright scenes brilliantly realistic. The result is a harmonious, vivid picture in which every detail – from delicate shadows at dusk to bright sunshine – looks impressively real.

Sharp knows that high brightness and deep blacks traditionally come at a high price. The new MiniLED TVs break this logic: they are based on the top performance of renowned premium suppliers, but remain in price ranges where only simple LED models previously existed. For film lovers and gamers who value brilliant pictures without breaking the bank, Sharp is therefore the first choice.

The first series is the new JP-series with screen sizes of 50”, 55”, 65” and 75”. The devices are equipped with Harman/Kardon sound and impress with an elegant design and delicate central TV stand. The JP-series will be available at the end of 2025.
